This site contains software for the MDM-1 which is a 5 character starburst LCD module with built in PIC 16F877 @ 4Mhz.  This is available from Lascar Electronics. For additional information you can visit the unofficial MDM1 website. There is also software written on the MDM-1 (but not using its LCD) to drive the DDM-4 (a 4 character serial LCD display) and the DMX973B (100 x 32 Graphics display). These displays are also available from Lascar Electronics.
